The Sheltering Arms Foundation invites proposal for small grants (up to $1,000) to Minnesota Episcopal congregations supporting efforts in building potential for vulnerable children.

On June 22-26, 2011, the Twin Cities' Bethel University will see the gathering of 1,500+ Episcopal youth and their adult leaders for Mission EYE 2011. EYE is a triennial gathering of youth leaders from across The Episcopal Church, who come together for worship, prayer, training, and service.

EYE is accepting applications from active teenage youth leaders to serve on the EYE 2011 Mission Planning Team. Completed applications will be accepted until March 29.

Applications are now being accepted for more than 60 scholarships available through The Episcopal Church. All materials - the list of scholarships, the guidelines, the application form and the instructions for filling out the form - are available online.

The Episcopal Church Office for Young Adult and Campus Ministries is accepting proposals from dioceses, parishes or college/university campuses for grants to assist in the start-up of new campus ministries or the re-start of dormant campus ministries.

The Office of Episcopal Church Presiding Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori has notified the Diocese of Oregon that the canonical consent process for Bishop-Elect Michael Joseph Hanley has been successfully completed. Bishop-Elect Hanley, most recently the rector at St. Christopher's, St. Paul, will be Ordained and Consecrated on April 10.
