Intergenerational Mission Trip to Belize

St. Stephen's, Edina, is hosting a mission trip to San Pedro, Belize, June 14-21, 2008. All ages are welcome; children ages 11 and older are welcome to participate along with their parents. The trip is organized through the South American Missionary Society, an Episcopal organization. Participants in the mission trip will help build a library, work in the classrooms with children, and organize Vacation Bible School and athletic activities at Holy Cross Anglican School in Belize.

Frances and Verne Wilson began Holy Cross Anglican School in response to the large number of children who are unable to attend school because of lack of facilities.

Last summer, St. Stephen's youth program worked at Holy Cross and had a wonderful experience (and the kids are returning in their own trip in July).
