Gary Gleason is Canon to the Ordinary and Executive Officer of the Diocese. He is also holds the positions of corporate officer as Secretary of Convention and Secretary to Council. The Canon to the Ordinary is selected by the Bishop to be his primary associate in ministry and oversight of the Diocese as well as strategic direction.
Gary is the bishop’s representative to a variety of groups and organizations, he serves as the deployment officer for the diocese and he coordinates the work of the employees of the Episcopal Center and supervises the program staff. He works directly with leadership of Diocesan Council, is responsible for Diocesan Convention and its various committees and generally has responsibility for the daily operations of the Diocese.
