The Rev. Harold Eagle Bull was chosen to serve on the visioning team for developing the new version of In the Spirit of the Circle, a Christian education curriculum resource created by Native Americans. The original resource was produced in 1989.

The Rev. Dr. Michael Hanley, Rector of St. Christopher's, Roseville, was elected Bishop of Oregon.

The Rev. Michele Morgan was named as the interim at St. James on the Parkway, Minneapolis.

The Rev. Diana Rogers was named short-term interim at Christ Church, Austin.

The Rev. Marlene Jacobs was installed as the new rector at St. Paul's, Minneapolis on October 22.

The Rev. Paul Allick was called to be Rector of St. George's, St. Louis Park. A Celebration of New Ministry is scheduled for March 25 at 7 pm. He has been the Priest-in-Charge at St. George's for just over a year. Clergy are encouraged to participate and vest in white.

The Rev. John Jankowski is the new priest-in-charge at St. John's, St. Cloud.

The Rev. Nancy Brantingham is the new Associate Rector at St. Stephens, Edina.

The Rev. Devon Anderson has been named Executive Director of Episcopalians for Global Reconciliation. Her office will be based in Minneapolis at the Episcopal Center. Her email remains devonanderson1@gmail.com and she has added a new e-mail, e4gred@gmail.com. Devon remains a member of St. John's Minneapolis and All Saints' Minneapolis.

Tom Johnson, Director of Becketwood of Episcopal Homes and husband of the Rev. Wanda Copeland, is undergoing treatment for leukemia and is undertaking Chemo therapy at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Read the latest update: http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/tgjohnson.

Patrick Winful, a member of Trinity, Anoka, who is being held captive in Darfur, UN rep. Pray also for his wife, Niki, and daughter, I Feoluwa.

Virginia MacDonald, wife of Bishop Mark MacDonald was recently hospitalized for seizures. Tests are being completed however it has been determined that she did not suffer a stroke and is not in any immediate danger. (Bishop MacDonald is from MN and was on Bishop's staff)

Bishop James Jelinek is saddened to announce the death of Trudy Kellogg on December 26, 2009. A celebration of the life of Trudy will be held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 4439 W 50th Street, Edina on Saturday, January 9 at 1:00 pm. Read More
A Memorial service will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church, St. Cloud at 7:00 PM, July 30, for The Rev. Dr. Michael Wyatt, Episcopal priest, who died of liver cancer at the age of 57 on July 7, 2009. Read More
