National awards for Minnesota communicators
Awards of Merit and Honorable Mentions for Soundings (Diocese of Minnesota) and The Messenger (St. Paul's on-the-Hill)
Also Awards of Excellence and Merit for the work of Lindsay Hardin Freeman for the Episcopal Church Foundation
At its annual awards banquet on April 11, the Episcopal Communicators honored the work of several Minnesota communicators. Named for a founding member of the national organization, the "Polly Bond Awards" honor excellence in church communication. Entries were submitted for work done in 2007 by Episcopal Communicators members who have had a hand in their production. Award categories are Excellence, Merit, and Honorable Mention. Here are the 2008 awards for Minnesotans:

Other Minnesota awards
The Rev. Lindsay Hardin Freeman, associate priest at St. Martin's by-the-Lake in Minnetonka Beach, also won three awards for her work with the Episcopal Church Foundation, including the publication Vestry Papers, which she edits.
