Episcopal Community Services, the mission arm of the Diocese of Minnesota announced today the transfer of the former Archdeacon Gilfillan Treatment Center in Bemidji to the White Earth Band of Ojibwe. The White Earth Tribal Council plans to utilize the campus as a culturally-specific treatment center for Native American youth. Read More
About a year ago, the Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania elected a young man as their new Bishop. Sean Rowe was 32 when he was elected; Bishop Rowe was the keynote speaker at this year’s National Network of Episcopal Clergy Associations (NNECA) national conference. Read More

StM VBS 2008 playhouse blessing
In mid-July, about 30 children participated in VBS at St. Mark's Cathedral. Focused on Habitat for Humanity, Bible School participants painted and assembled a wooden playhouse for the backyard of a new Habitat home. A house blessing, led by Jim Jacobson and Mary Lusk, was held following the closing Eucharist on Friday, July 18.
