ECS raises thousands of program dollars at annual Gala

Colonel Kurt Johnson acknowledged a lucky bidder at the live auction that was part of the annual Gala Benefit of Episcopal Community Services (ECS), held on Saturday, September 29, at the Hotel Sofitel in Bloomington. This event, which this year included both live and silent auctions and a dinner, is generally ECS's biggest fundraiser. Money raised goes to help youth at risk and families in need across the state of Minnesota. Final amounts are still being compiled for Saturday's Gala, titled "Compassion is Always in Fashion," but it looks so far as if this year's event Gala brought in more than $80,000.
