Minnesota mission trip leaves for Perú on November 9

Trip is sponsored by St. Mark's Cathedral; includes team members from three additional parishes

St. Mark’s Cathedral is sponsoring a mission trip to Perú November 9 to 20. St. Mark’s Canon Richard Norman will lead a team of fifteen individuals. In addition to St. Markans, there are team members from the following parishes: St. Christopher’s, Roseville, St. John’s, St. Cloud; and Epiphany, Plymouth.

Canon Norman participated in a site visit trip to Perú in January of 2006 at the invitation of the Right Reverend William Godfrey, Anglican Bishop of Perú. In addition to work projects in the Diocese of Perú, participants will visit some of Perú s sacred sites including Machu Picchu. The mission team will be formally commissioned on November 4, 2007 at St. Mark’s Cathedral as part of the 11 am service. Please keep the mission team in your thoughts and prayers.
