A $31 Million Investment in the Community
Episcopal Homes Wins Cover Design Contest
For the past two years, the Saint Paul Midway Chamber of Commerce has invited members to participate in design contest. The winning design is used on the cover of the Chamber’s annual membership directory. Episcopal Homes was a runner-up in the first year of the contest and the winner of the current competition. Its winning entry will grace the cover of the Midway Chamber’s 2007 Membership Directory which will be delivered later this month.
The theme of this year’s winning design was investment in the Midway community. It highlights the fact that between 2002 and the completion of Episcopal Church Home’s $9 million renovation project in 2008, Episcopal Homes will have invested a total of $31 million in the Midway community.
“Our hope is that, when other Midway Chamber members see the extent of our investments in the Midway, it will encourage them to make new investments here as well,” says Marvin Plakut, President and CEO of Episcopal Homes. “Investment begets investment, and every dollar invested in the Midway enhances the lives of all who live, work and shop in our community.”
