The three congregations participating in the spring MDG pilot project raised over $43,000 through a total of 218 individual 0.7% pledges from adults, youth, and children. Each community is now in the process of discerning recipients for their funds. Participating congregations are: Epiphany, Plymouth; St. Anne's, Sunfish Lake; and St. Clement's, St. Paul.

Epiphany, Plymouth MDG Campaign Focused on Guatemalan School
Church of the Epiphany, Plymouth is joining the fight to eradicate poverty. Four ambassadors from Epiphany were trained at the MDG Leadership Team Training in January and came back energized and ready to organize. Choosing a Lenten campaign theme, program organizers challenged the community to pledge 0.7% of their incomes to the Miguel Angel Asturias Academy in Quetzaltenago, Guatemala.
