Youth Minister

St Christopher's Episcopal Church, a congregation of 286 households in Roseville, is seeking someone to lead our Youth (Middle and Sr. High) Ministry Program.  This position is Half Time.

With the support of our Youth Commission, the Youth Minister plans and implements faith formation programs for youth, including Sunday a.m. and Wednesday p.m. programs, and confirmation preparation.

The Youth Minister plans, organizes and oversees youth events including social, service, and mission trips, and assists youth in participating in National, diocesan and regional youth activities. These activities occasionally involve overnight travel.

The ideal candidate will have a mature Christian faith, strong personal and pastoral skills, sensitivity to the needs of 10-20 young people (ages 12-17), as well as organizational, planning and communications skills.  A Bachelors Degree, along with training and experience in youth ministry, are preferred.

Half-Time position.

Salary Range $18,000-$20,000 per year, depending on experience.

One week paid vacation.
