Report from the Bishop's Commission on Mission Strategy: affirmed

"The 150th Annual Convention of the Episcopal Diocese of Minnesota affirms and owns the four goals that are the recommendation of the BCMS and urges the bishop, his staff, and the Dicoesan Council to implement them."

2008 Diocesan Budget: passed

Resolution 1: Supporting Episcopal seminaries: passed

Resolution 2: Transparency in diocesan budgeting: passed

Proposed change to Canon 206 regarding suspension of lay delegates: defeated

Call for the election of a Bishop Coadjutor: defeated

Following the proceedings of Convention, Bishop Jelinek said, "'Convention has discerned not to elect a bishop coadjutor. In accordance with the canons, I will discuss this with the Standing Committee in the next few months to determine the best process for the election of a diocesan bishop. My intention to retire June 30, 2010, means the consecration would occur about that time."
