Meet James Huber, 2009 General Convention deputy

James Huber

Jim Huber has been busy on behalf of the church. For the past several years, he has chaired what may arguably be the most active diocesan committee and project in recent history, the Bishop's Commission on Mission Strategy (BCMS) and subsequent Mission Strategy Network (MSN). He has also served two terms on Diocesan Council, co-chaired the Diocesan Discernment Committee, participated in the CommiJames Huberssion on Ministry and Standing Committee, and served as a General Convention Deputy four times.

"After chairing the BCMS and subsequent MSN, I believe I know this Diocese of Minnesota very well," says Huber. "I have come to love the people of this diocese, and my fervent prayer is that together, with the help of God, we will strengthen and grow this church both in numbers and spirit. We have something really great - we must share it with all. It is with this sense of mission that I will represent our beloved diocese at General Convention."
